Our kindergarten curriculum is based around science and literacy, encouraging experimentation and inquiry based learning.
We provide both karate and physical education classes, taught by specialist teaching staff, for physical and mental development.
A DAY AT SATURDAY PRESCHOOL

Free Play Time
After greeting their teachers and friends, students put their belongings in their lockers and prepare for the day ahead.
9:30〜
Morning Assembly
Children from preschool and kindergarten classes join together for a lively and fun welcome to the day! Teachers preview the programme and activities students will be doing during the day. Let’s sing songs, learn seasonal vocabulary and greet each other with a happy smile!

Circle Time / English
We develop student's English competency through a communicative programme to improve their listening and speaking skills.
We relate the lesson content to students' lives with activities such as show-and-tell.

Phonics
Phonics provides the cornerstone from which our students learn to read and write. Emphasis is also placed on speaking with a considered syllabus that provides students with the tools they need to improve these important skills.

Discovery Time / Pe (Karate)
Students visit a local park and improve their physical fitness, balance, flexibility and coordination through a range of fun games and activities.

Lunch Time
Learning manners, good nutrition and responsibility are all a part of lunch time.

Science / STEM
Science classes challenge students via stimulating thematic units which encourage children to hypothesize, experiment and inquire!STEM activities focus on engaging in Project Based Learning to research and engineer a solution to a real-world problem, connected to other subject areas being explored at the time.

Closing Circle
The day is brought to a close as children review the day’s taught content. This is also an opportunity for a shared reading time and a goodbye song!
Extended Program

Nap Time / Study Time
After a long day, students take a nap, draw, work on worksheets and crafts.
15:45〜
Snack Time
When the students wake up, we have a small snack, and students are given another opportunity to socialize.
16:00〜
Study Time
Students create imaginative crafts, do puzzles and play games designed to inspire students to be creative and thoughtful while providing a safe area where they can learn and explore.

PARENTS’ VOICE
Initially, I was very worried about whether my child would be able to fit to an English environment, as this was the first time I had ever entrusted my child to a nursery school. Once enrolled, my child adjusted to the class very flexibly thanks to the cheerful and kind teachers and the bilingual nursery staff who support them. I thought that the school lunch and school bus service were very friendly to working mothers.
