Laurus Shirokanedai School sits in a quiet residential area near to both Shirokanedai Station and Takanawadai Station. It is the largest and most well-equipped campus building amongst all Laurus preschool/kindergarten. We have a big P.E. room, music room, a high-standard science lab, a rooftop garden and a lot of space that can accommodate 2 classes for each year group. There are many small parks around this area which we often take our students to to have fun and observe nature. If you don’t mind walking a little further, there is an enormous botanical garden - National Institute for Nature Study - about 10 minutes away which you should never miss. The Tokyo Metropolitan Teien (Japanese Garden) Museum and a big children’s playground are next to it. Both inside and outside Laurus Shirokanedai School, we can create great educational and fun experiences for our children.
The Laurus standards for our Preschools and Kindergartens are much higher than normal Japanese nursery facilities. Students are in a full-English environment every day. They don’t just study English, they use English as their main communication tool and study other subjects through English. Also, being a STEM school, we are famous for embedding fun science and technology elements into our daily lessons. Students can touch and play with the knowledge they learn inside lessons and live out with them in their current and future lives. It is always amazing that our teachers extract the curiosity out of our students and magnify them to the maximum. We can’t wait to see our little Laurus explorers grow into future innovators.
