Prior to his current role at Laurus, Mr Hioki enjoyed a successful global career in finance. He holds an MBA from the Yale School of Management.

Mrs. Hioki is the founder of Laurus International and is a graduate of Sophia University in Japan.

Mr. Buckley has over 19 years’ teaching experience, including 11 years’ leadership experience, and has held positions in the UK and Sweden. He holds a bachelor’s degree in science and a postgraduate certificate in education.

Ms van Heyningen holds a bachelor degree in Education and has previously held teaching positions in South Africa, UAE and China.

Mr. Hammond has an MA in School Leadership from Reading University, as well as a leadership qualification from Harvard. Previously he has held teaching and leadership positions in the UK, Japan, Korea, Laos, Thailand, and Qatar.

Mr Wright is an experienced early years educator. In addition to Senior Head Teacher, he is also the Kindergarten Curriculum Coordinator.

Ms Vildosola graduated with a degree in early education and has deep experience in Preschool and Kindergarten aged childcare and safety.

Ms. Nakagawa holds a BA in English Literature and comes with deep experience in English education and intercultural communication. She is vice principal at our Primary & Secondary Campus.

Dr. Cizdziel has a Ph.D. degree in cancer research and over 35 years’ experience in Biotech business management. He is a self-taught expert in Astronomy and Astrophotography.

Dr. Asai earned his Ph.D. from Keio University in 2009, and pursued post-doctoral research at Columbia University in New York City. With a strong desire to create an innovative system for industry-academia collaboration, he aims to help Japan consistently produce cutting-edge technology.

Ms. Shirakawa, an entrepreneur and leader in educational change, is a graduate of Duke University and holds an MBA from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).
