About the Online Academy
Build a strong foundation in English, Math, and Science —
from the comfort of your home.
The Laurus Online Academy is a program is designed for Japanese elementary school students to study English, Science, and Math through the use of Cambridge textbooks. It focuses on improving English literacy and is highly regarded by many families. Lessons are taught by experienced instructors in small groups, following a two-semester academic system.

We currently offer 3 course types:
Core Subject Learning Course
Beyond language skills, this course encompasses the 3 essential subjects of the Cambridge Curriculum, fostering students' comprehension across science and mathematics through an internationally recognized framework.
Cambridge English Exam Preparation Course
Cambridge English qualifications, aligned with the CEFR standard, are recognised worldwide.
This course develops key language skills to prepare students for the exams and enhance future opportunities.
Other Skill-Based Courses
The Skill-Based Courses are designed for students who wish to improve specific abilities in areas such as phonics and creative writing.
Additional Practical Skills Courses will be gradually introduced in the future.
Trial Lessons & Enrollment
① Curriculum Seminar & Group Trial Lesson (Free)
In group lessons, students have the opportunity to study with friends. This option is recommended for parents who are interested in group classes. After the curriculum seminar and trial lesson, our staff will answer parents’ questions.
② Private Curriculum Consultation (Free) & Private Trial Lesson (¥4,400)
Recommended for:
Parents who cannot attend the group trial lesson
Students who wish to enroll at a level other than Level 2
Structure:
Private curriculum consultation: approx. 30 minutes
Private trial lesson: 30 minutes / ¥4,400 (tax excluded)
③ Private Curriculum Consultation Only (Free, Approx. 30 minutes)
This option is for parents who do not wish to join a trial lesson
