Laurus Takanawa School is in such a good location on the map that no other school can compare. It’s close to Shinagawa Station, Takanawa Gateway Station and Takanawadai Station. There are many recreational facilities near it including an IMAX cinema, a top-class aquarium, a 4-star hotel with a beautiful Japanese garden, and many many good restaurants. It’s a perfect area for families to enjoy and relax right after school. Also, right next to our Takanawa School is the big Takanawa Park, which our students enjoy playing and exploring in it every day.

The Laurus standards for our Preschools and Kindergartens are much higher than normal Japanese nursery facilities. Students are in a full-English environment every day. They don’t just study English, they use English as their main communication tool and study other subjects through English. Also, being a STEM school, we are famous for embedding fun science and technology elements into our daily lessons. Students can touch and play with the knowledge they learn inside lessons and live out with them in their current and future lives. It is always amazing that our teachers extract the curiosity out of our students and magnify them to the maximum. We can’t wait to see our little Laurus explorers grow into future innovators.
